Thanks for the great review. I don't get it though, you sound fantastic, but I own a Rode Podcaster and I sound no where near as good. have you applied any effects at all to your recording? I get much more popping and barely any bass.

That would be 48 kilohertz sampling rate not 48 hertz. Definitely worth buying the Rode. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure this is what they use on CNET's Buzz Out Loud in-studio with pop filters. Sounds good.
Ya there is some pop, but not too bad considering I am not using a screen of any kind. The same could not be said for the MXL or my PR-40, or the Blue Snowball. For a lot of recording, I'd still get a pop screen.

This is hands down the best review of the Rode podcaster I've seen here on Youtube. 5/5 stars for that..as for the bundle...DAMN..that's a GREAT PRICE considering what's included.

I would recommend a pop screen for that microphone just because the popping from it gets a bit annoying but you sound great with that microphone i would get one if i did podcasts
IMHO there's _significant_ pop on the Rode..
For vocals I think you'd be really happy.

lol, ya. That's the countryman E6i Omni that I also picked up from The DVeStore. It's a great mic for video production. That's about a $400 setup though, and you need a mixer or some kind of gear that'll take in XLR and bring it into your computer.
