@zzfinance The idea is that some action is needed to ensure there is a economy to pay for benefits. Profitable companies can go bust if there is a mass recall of loans. America is a rich country, ending morgage tax deductability, slashing military, getting rid of uneeded tax brakes and increased auditing by tax authorities can deal with any fiscal problems. We just need a leader who can cause the pain for the nation dispite political implications. Some spending cuts would also be a good idea.

My advise is: sell what you don't need, get out of debt ASAP. Stock up on dry goods such as beans, rice, pasta and powder milk. And also start buying some precious metals....at least some Silver. In order for new money to be made the government must borrow i from the federal reserve with interest. thye exchange government bonds for "legal tender" from the reserve. Do not forget that all money borrowed from the reserve has to be paid back WITH interest so no matter how muh "bailout money" we borrow it will always incur more debt.
