Would the Saudis continue to accept USD's if it suddenly loses its value due to a mass exodus from the dollar? Is it reasonable to say that the Saudis may switch to Euros sometime down the road? Just because we are the United States it doesn't mean that the world has to continue to accept our dollars no matter how much we borrow & print. Our dollar is only as strong as our credit worthiness & we are losing it quickly.

I am afraid that Mr. Schiff doesn´t understand one major thing here. Countryes around the world can get rid of the dollar, because they have to buy the oil by using US dollars. And that´s why USA can overprint own currency and rest of the world have to pay the inflation.
That´s why US have military bases all the most important oil producing countryes. Arabs have no choice but keep selling oil by using US dollars. If USA can Occupy Iran and Venezuela USA will controll whole world.

Practical solution to what historically has been a complex problem.
Technology required to eliminate political corruption has existed for a long time. Amend US Constitution mandating all politicians & public officials must pass a weekly test while wired to a lie detector and seated in an electric chair.
Ask a series of random questions, first lie beeps & repeats the question, lie again they die.
Mandate all Government Officials immediately be tested while repeating Oath to God & Country.

Gold can and always was manipulated. What we (US) need is a new monetary system that is not "debt" based. Eliminating fractionalized banking and creating our own money is the only answer. Unfortunately, we (US) borrows ALL its money from the Fed (international bankers) and pays interest for this borrowing... with one problem. Interest money doesn't exist. It is impossible to pay off our national debt. Only one president did it and he's dead. Our present monetary system is totally insane.
Sorry, but it's far worse. We are not on a gold standard and haven't been since 1913. Here is the problem. Gold will go up, but they (banking despots) plan to mitigate that damage by chipping everyone taking fiat money to the digital extreme. In this respect, the biblical prophecy will ring true that you will not be able to conduct any transaction without it. So the only way to get around that is to already have self sustaining land (gardens, wells, alternative energy) and get off S.S.
